Toddler Pacifier - Take it Away Already

According to medical studies, it is a good idea to start weaning your baby a pacifier from somewhere after the age of 18 months or so.

An infant pacifier, if not used for over 2-3 years causing the potential for a variety of problems.

One of the most common problems doctors attribute to the overuse of a pacifier otitis media, because the sucking motion interferes ear Eustachian tube function, so that an infant more vulnerable.

ExcessivePacifier use can hamper a toddler's speech at the plight of the tongue and lip muscles during the movement of sucking.

So how do we get rid of our child's pacifier? I can tell you this promise, it's not usually be easy, but I can assure you, it can be done in a relatively short time with a little patience and reinforcement.

The basis of the following method to rotate the release of your child's pacifier is disturbing your child with other objects when theyYou want a pacifier, and the withholding of the pacifier as long as possible before your child seems on the verge of crying or visibly disturbed.

Here is the method I used for my youngest son, Kyle, recently:

If your child wakes up, the first thing he or she seeks suspect yep - you - the pacifier! Here is the perfect opportunity to distraction by your child use a book or favorite toy. If your child becomes restless, try calming him or her in conversationin a soft tone and annoying again.

First, your child will ask for fear that you put the darn pacifier in his mouth before, but with time your child will start to a distance of relying on the pacifier to form.

The same procedure will be the day for the rest to the guns stick to put much effort into it, and the infant pacifiers will make an exit as its own, for good!
