As parents, you play many roles in the life of your child. The caretaker and protector roles are certainly important, but to fulfill a different role, parents, teachers. You will teach your child all sorts of things and teaching your child to read is essential. Get help with this task. Schools are to be effective. But the parents are in a unique position, with the child if the child's brain starts working on the language, and it starts much earlier than you mightto think.

A child begins the journey of learning language, while still in the womb! Scientists have more on language development in the last 15 years, learned than ever before. New technologies and methods of study have expanded our understanding of how to develop the human body and mind and to learn increases. A study published in 1986 in the journal Science in DeCaspar of AJ and HJ Spence pointed out that while babies might have been seen, the story was read to one of their mothersthe last 6 weeks of pregnancy. In fact, the connection of the auditory nerve to the brain as happens in the sixth month of pregnancy. From then on, the child is very interested in talking to his mother. The fetus recognize repeated phrases, rhymes and stories. The child will have his first lessons in literacy. It is learning the rhyme and patterns of the language of his mother.

The human brain continues to develop for the first 24 years of life. At each stageGrowth, the brain receives skills, new types of information and concepts, process. It is interesting that learning is to provide a task that the mind begins very early in life and continue for a longer period. This is the first in a series of four articles give insight into what is helpful for the child in its first six years.

1st Start reading to your child when you reach your third trimester of pregnancy. Choose books from the children's section in your library.Short stories, rhymes, stories, rhymes and nursery school are all good choices. Read with animation and complete the whole story or rhyme. Repeat often the story. Repetition is helpful to the child, in recognition of the history and development of language. Obviously, the child will not understand the story. At this stage they are learning to recognize sounds, repeating patterns. Making music is another exercise in pattern recognition.

2nd Once your child is born, continue to read aloudYour baby at least once or twice daily for 10 minutes. It's OK if the baby falls asleep while reading. Read more about it later.

3rd Talk to your child while you go about the daily care of your baby. Put your face close to his - about 12 inches away at. Baby's need to speak against it seeks to learn. Your baby optic connections are not yet complete and they can concentrate on you if you are close it. Your baby will be seen on your face looking anxious, the movement of facial muscles. Your baby will soon begin to imitate your facial expressions. These observations help with the baby to learn how to make his mouth to speak.

4th Talk in "Motherese" with elongated vowels and variations in pitch. This will probably come naturally. Scientists now know, listen to help baby (the hearing is still in development) and your baby is to distinguish the different sounds (phonemes), which occur in your native languageLanguage. If your baby for the first time in the world, they recognize the difference between a phoneme can be in any language. With age you this ability is clearly downward. Instead, the baby focuses on the phonemes in the language of the people using his surroundings and begins to understand this work sounds more full.

Vary your vocabulary to repeat 5th, but words and a natural way. Repetition enables Pattern recognition, including new words for the expansion of vocabulary. For example, you could talk your baby through his bath every day, in slightly different terms. "OK, Michael, time for your bath! Time, fresh and clean Are You willing to look fresh and clean?" Another day ... Guess "even know what Michael? It is time for your bath, we now learn to play in the water. And when we're done, you do not want to smell!"

6th Talk with your baby - Baby enable the natural response to the pauses in speech. Detects grunt, COO or body movement asBaby's contribution to the conversation. This is important to the understanding of the baby turns into a conversation. Although it may be surprising that you know, babies can really see this approach at a very early stage and frustrated when they are not entitled to participate in the conversation. It's not like he will say: "How do you do?" Nevertheless he will try you in any electoral process, he is currently responding to the situation. The election process is a change in itsNervous system develops and enables him to control more muscle.

7th Babbling practice is to talk. Let it flow.

8th How do you talk to your child in critical determination, fast and well your child learn how to speak and read later. Studies show positive feedback is highly correlated with more rapid mastery of the language. Negative feedback is not helpful.

Examples of negative feedback: Do not do that ... Stop! ... If you do not eat your beans, thennot ... This is stupid ... They are like a naughty girl.

Instead, what kind of a good boy you are, you ate all your applesauce! ... Look at you standing all alone. Good for you! ... You are so clever. Let's tell Daddy how smart you are.

And if restriction is necessary for safety: Oh, my darling, do not pick that. It could hurt you, and we will not, right? Mommy will move it to a safe place so you do not get hurt.

Babies need a lot of talk addressed to listen to them into learn language. Sheer quantity of words heard is an excellent indicator of how well a child will learn to speak, read and write. So chat with your baby, read to your baby, and give your baby the "Play of the game" Description of what is happening around them.
