Toddler Bed

When should you move your child from a crib to a cot? There is really no right time. It will depend on all of it, your child.

Most parents switch her baby from a crib to a child aged between 1 ½ and 3 years. It is best to keep them in their cribs as long as he or she fits comfortably in it.

One of the reasons you can rush to buy a cot is, because you will look after your child begins to climb into and out of the crib, you risk injury. Before you do this, pleasebe sure that your child is ready to make the transition. A cot provides some room for your child as he / she no longer need help getting on and off the bed. It can be sure no responsibility for your child around the house when all sleep, so make sure they are for freedom, or perhaps willing to put a safety gate restricting access to other rooms.

If you move your child from a crib to a cot, because a new baby comes, try to moveYour child coming six to eight weeks before the new baby home. You do not want your child's crib, or a room to feel, is taken from the new baby. But if your child is ready to make the train, they do not rush. Leave them in the crib. Your newborn baby in a crib or bassinet to sleep until your child is ready to make the step.

To facilitate the transition to your child, you should try to keep the toddler bed in the same room as the crib and the change can be fun. Youcan have a big boy / big girl moving-from-manger
-to-infant bed-party. If it is an older brother and sister say, "WOW, you are moving in Bobby's big bed."

You can use your child you have in the selection of bedding that you will use, as this will make them feel safe and not afraid of the train.

Finally, if your child is running around at night, crying, or can not sleep, he or she may not be willing to move a cot. So please wait a few weeks and try toagain.
